Asphalt Overlay Geotextiles

Installed between layers of old and new asphalt pavement, Pave-Dry® Asphalt Overlay Geotextiles can add years to the life of the new pavement surface. Pave-Dry® is made of polypropylene staple fibers needle punched together and calendared on one side to create a fabric with an affinity for petroleum products. Pave-Dry® is deployed over a tack coat of asphalt cement just prior to paving. Heat from the new asphalt pavement draws the tack coat deep into the Pave-Dry® geotextile creating a membrane like composite. Moisture is restricted from entering the pavement base materials, adding years of life to a typical asphalt pavement.

A/o Tac® is a pre-coated, self adhesive asphalt overlay geotextile. Designed to minimize installation costs, A/o Tac® is deployed without the aid of machines or special tack coats. It comes on narrow rolls, perfect for projects where total coverage is not required.
